Merry Christmas!

Hello everybody Christ Girlz blogger Megan here. Sorry we haven't posted in FOREVER. We are getting so much snow. We got 4 more inches. It is ridiculous and this year I don't even want to play in the snow because it is so cold. I wish it would just stop. Last year we made a snowman. It was so fun! But this year it is too cold . Well lets not think about the bad things about this season, lets think about the good things. Like Santa Clause and the North Pole and his reindeer. Isn't that the true meaning of Christmas? No that is definitely not the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus, the birth of Jesus, that is the true meaning of Christmas. Me and my brother every year have a nativity scene play-mobile set that each day we open one of the figures. And on Christmas eve we open baby Jesus. Truly Getting Him

I asked my mom today if we were truly getting Martin and she said yes! By the way if you would like to look into getting a puppy I strongly recommend you to Nicola Wall. Go see some of her pups by going to www.nicolasakcpets.net The pup we are getting is Martin the Yorkie it will soon say Sold to Ally! Ally is my nickname. But let me tell you this. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! What ever type of dog you want study it before you buy! Then you will be prepared.

I have never had a pet. My mom and I fell in love with a male yorkie called Martin. My dad HATES dogs. Me and my mom begged. Today I got the best news I had ever heard. Better than going to the White House on an VIP tour. Better than winning the lotto. (to me)

I came home from school and asked my mom how she was doing in begging my dad. She said she had convinced him. They had put an hold on the dog I had fell in love with. MARTIN, MARTIN, MARTIN, and MARTIN!!! Now I want you guys to participate. Give me tips on how to raise a dog and comment to this post with pictures of your pet. Every week I have my Martin I will take pictures of him and put them on the blog with tips to raise your dog. If you have any really good tips on how to raise puppies I might put them on the blog! What It Means: Queen Vashti

Hello followers! I am posting today about Queen Vashti. (you remember the old queen before Esther) Anyways I thought I would give my self a challenge. As there is not much information on Queen Vashti this, I thought is a challenge.


I think Vashti was pretty modest when she stood up in front of King Xerxes and refused. But thats getting ahead of ourselves? Right?


First read Esther Chapter 1. Yes the whole thing! Go! Away from the computer until you read the intire chapter again! No peeking at the computer screen! Shoo!


Okay sorry about the lecture but seriously you would not know what in the Whirlpool Galaxy I was talking about.


Queen Vashti and King Xerxes were having a banquet and King Xerxes wanted her to come out and entertain the men with her flattering beauty. Talk about being used! I mean if I had my Dad ordering me to entertain other men I hardly knew......... I don't know about you but I'd be pretty peeved. AND Annoyed! So she refused the King's Order. And as every one knows: The King's Order is Law.

So that's how the story goes.

• King orders Vashti to show off in a immodest way
• Vashti refuses
• The King gets mad
• Vashti is kicked out of the Palace like a fired maid.

But I admire Vashti for being courageous and standing up to the drunk King Xerxes. I would definitly consider her a Bible Hero.

What It Means: Esther

Hello followers of Christ the Holy One! Today I am here to talk about Esther the Jew Queen!!!





First of all people probably think Esther's life was well luxurious. Let me tell you this: It was definitely not so perfect. Now you know what's coming: Read Esther Chapters 1-10! Hurry up now go read it!

Good you are now caught up. Now you can see what I mean about Esther's life not being very luxurious in the start. As a child Esther had no parents. They died. Her uncle Mordecai raised her as his own. By the way if you really did read Chapters 1-10 then you would have read about her true name: Hadassah. In Bible Times that name was most likely a common name. But now-a-days? Seriously, I would not want to be named that. Anyways to the point of Esther's tale. Esther was very brave to tell King Xerxes what Hamen, the King's right hand man was planning. 1 dinner with her husband and her people's murderer (not trying to be violent here) , the 2nd dinner with the King and the ax-murder (still trying to avoid any violence), and at last she tells her King what Hamen was planning! What pressure! Then of course comes the part where Hamen is hanged in the spot where he wanted Mordecai to be hung!

Next time someone mentions Esther and how awesome her life must have been... Show them this article!!!!

The Scoop: Black Hawk

Sorry folks. Apache not a Black Hawk. No one knew. Three words- Big, Impressive, and Gruesome Smelling! Actually that's five words but oh well! It was loud too. Think about an elephant doing tricks with fuel inside of it. (plus all it's wastes) Elephant= BIG!!! Doing Tricks= Impressive and Fuel and Wastes Mixed Together= Gruesome Smelling

What In The World Is Going On At School?

Seven Oaks

      This is Megan and I's new edition  to our blog! Class News! But we thought that was a  boring title so welcome.....       " What In The World Is Going On at School?"    Well if that's your question it's about to be answered!   This is what's going on:

Ryan Tennant's arm's been broken for over 2 weeks now! Ouch! Sorry Ryan!

Only one person in our class was absent: Carly. (Sick, GET BETTER SOON!!!!)

We had our spelling pretest after Monday Morning Meeting. Then we did a math sheet (and A.M.) till lunch. Directly after lunch we went to P.E. Then we got to finish our Idaho Salt Dough Maps. At last it was Last Recess! Every Last Recess I go help Mrs.Bell my old teacher last year. After I helped Mrs. Bell we started picking trash, leaves, sticks, old grass clippings, etc.  'Cause tomorrow a Black Hawk is coming to visit! And get this! We get to go inside the Black Hawk!!!!!

By the way sometimes we will post on days that aren't on our schedule so come everyday possible!

We have had a lot of these types of problems in our lives and we have some good ideas about what to do.

1. Try telling them how you feel and get them to tell you how they feel.
2.Pray for her! God tells us to love our enemies and this is a great way to do it.

The Tower of Babel

After the ark had landed Noah's children had children and there children had children and there children had children and there children had children and there children had children etc. And finally there was a lot of people in the land of Shinar. God told Noah that they should spread out and fill the earth. But the People thought that they should stay together. And they disobeyed God. And then they decided to make a tower. The Lord came down to the land of Shinar. God made them all speak different languages. And they had to knock down the Tower of Babel.
Remember never disobey God.
I learned this in church on Sunday.

What It Means : Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego

To Christians life sometimes is hard. Have you ever heard of the story about Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego? If you haven't go and read it so I can finish my post! It's some where in the book of Daniel (Daniel 1-3).



Okay now that you are caught up with the story on with my post. Remember the part of the of the story if they heard the music of horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, and all other instruments they would have to bow down to the gold idol? When all that music played did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego bow down to worship the idol? No! Of course not. Their Christian light and bravery shone through the outside. But as Christians might be amazed of their courage King Nabuchadnezzar ( the villain of our story) was not. In fact he was furious. He was about to give the boys a second chance but the boys told him they would never bow down to anyone but their God. That made the King boil over with anger. He had his guards heat up the fiery furnace to seven times it's usual heat! So the boys were thrown in to the fiery furnace. The king noticed something in the furnace. Four people one of which he thought might be an angel. He called out the boys' names and told them to come out. They came out.The audience saw that not a hair was singed on their heads.The King said his apologies and the boys forgave him. Later the king made a law: Any one who made fun of the boys' God would be cut up into bits!

As you can see life for Christians is sometimes difficult. The boys risked their live for what they believed in. There is also a commandment in this story: Never worship idols. I hope you would do something like what Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did when something happened to them.

7th Commandment

"Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you," -Exodus 20:12 This is the 7th Commandment in the bible. I think everyone should follow this scripture because think about what your parents do for you they feed you they clean and sometimes they even clean up your messes. A rule in our house is just because you didn't make the mess doesn't mean you don't have to clean it up.

Pure NRG

We both like a Christian group called Pure NRG. It's a really cool group. They have 2 CDs already. We love this group and we encourage you to listen to it. All of our favorite songs are by this group. Megan's favorite song from the first CD is "360". Allison's favorite song from the second CD is "Here We Go Again".
